We are pleased to invite you to the FREE-TO-ATTEND GLIORESOLVE Satellite meeting, taking place in Prague on 15 October. This special event will feature keynote talks from leading international experts, including Prof. Patrick Wen (Harvard Medical School, Dana-Farber Cancer Institute), Prof. Gabriele Bergers (VIB KU Leuven), Prof. Anna Dimberg (Uppsala University), and Dr. Kate Connor (Trinity College Dublin).
The programme will focus on major advances in glioblastoma (GBM) research, particularly relating to the tumour microenvironment (TME). Topics will include the identification of novel TME subtypes and their potential as biomarkers for immunotherapy as well as other emerging therapeutic approaches, strategies to target the vascular phenotype to reduce GBM spread, and updates on new therapies for gliomas being studied in early clinical trials.
Alongside the invited lectures, three GLIORESOLVE Fellows will present insights from disruptive projects focused on the GBM TME. To foster discussion and networking, the day will also include a poster session and a light lunch for all attendees.

GLIORESOLVE is a European translational research consortium dedicated to improving treatment options for GBM patients. Through ten individual research projects, the consortium is applying a novel TME classification framework (link here) to develop new, more effective treatment strategies, including rationally selected immunotherapies.
